Chief S. F. Adeniran was a non-indigene from Akure, Ondo State. But he attained the status of an indigene by virtue of his life and work in the Ijebu Imusin society. He was posted to St. Mary’s Primary School, Ijebu Imusin, in 1944 as a teacher. He was a hardworking and committed teacher, as well as a great motivator of his pupils.

During his spare time, he would conduct coaching classes for the brilliant students who had prospects of gaining admission into good schools. Some of his pupils such as Engr. S. Osobamiro, Otunba Major-Gen. T.B. Ogundeko, and Alhaji T.A. Badmus, who later became builders of Ijebu Imusin Community, are living proofs of the commitment he displayed while serving in the community.
