Ven. Noah Osisanya, ICMA, was born at Idoko Aledo, Ijebu Imusin, in 1918. He attended St. Mary’s Anglican School, Ijebu Imusin from 1926 to 1933, and St. Andrew’s College, Ibadan from 1949 to 1951.  

He taught in various schools, including Iraye United School, Ode Remo, from January 1941 to December 1943. He was Headmaster of Ojowo United Infants School from January to August 1944 and Ijebu Ode Grammar School in September of that year. Between 1955 and 1957, he was the vice principal of Ijebu Ode Grammar School. In January 1958, he became the Principal, a post he held until 1972. He was the author of a book titled A Short History of Ijebu Imusin. He retired from service in December 1975.

Ven. Noah Osisanya was the Assistant Secretary of the Nigerian Union Teachers, Ijebu Ode, in 1944, and Chairman from 1963 to 1979. He was a fellow of the Yoruba Historical Research Scheme.  From 1958 to 1967, he served as General Secretary of the Western Nigeria Union of Graduate Teachers. He was a member of the Board of Governors, St. Anthony’s Grammar School, Ijebu Imusin from 1963 to 1967. In 1980, he became Chairman, of the planning Body’ for Ijebu Imusin Comprehensive High School, Ijebu Imusin. He later served as Chairman and educator of the Citizenship Committee, Ogbere Local Government Area, Ijebu. He was also the Chairman of Ijebu Imusin Electricity Committee, and Patron, the YMCA, St. Mary’s Church, Ijebu Imusin. He was the ‘olori ebi’ (head of the family) of Idoko Aledo and Agbon Ofuru families. In 1984, he received the All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary School (ANCOPSS) medallion and certificate.
