Pa Julius Kolawole Aderibigbe Runsewe was born in 1927 at Odokujegi, Ijebu Imusin. He was the son of Pa Eyidina Runsewe and Madam Beatrice Alaba Runsewe. After his primary education at St. Mary’s Anglican School, Ijebu Imusin (1935-1943), he served as a Pupil Teacher at Imagbon Idode and Imomo between 1944 and 1948.
In 1953, he joined the civil service of Western Region and served at different locations – Government College, Ibadan; Ransome-Kuti College of Education, Ibadan; Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo; Government Teachers Training College, Ilesa; and Government Technical College, Ijebu Ode. He retired from the civil service in 1985. And for five years (1990 to 1995), he worked as a Community Village Health Worker.
Pa Julius Runsewe was a member of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Isiade-Ijebu. He was married to Mrs. Christianah Olufunke Runsewe and the marriage was blessed with four children. He died on July 28, 1995.
