Mrs. Muhibat Abbas (nee Sanni) was born on May 19, 1961, at Ijebu Imusin. She hails from Esugbon, Ijebu Imusin. She had her primary school education at Ansar-ud-Deen Primary School, Alakoro, Lagos, from 1966 to 1972; and her secondary school education at Adeola Odutola College, Ijebu Ode, from 1973 to 1977. She then attended Federal Government College from 1977 to 1979. She continued her education and earned a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Lagos in 1982.
She became a Chartered Accountant in 1987 and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants in 2000. She served in several capacities within UACN Plc., having joined the company in 1994. She was Commercial Director of Bordpack Packaging (a division of UACN Plc.) from 1994 to 1998; Commercial Manager, of GBO/MDS (a division of UACN Plc.) from 1998 to 2000; and Commercial Director, of UAC Foods (a division of UACN Plc.) from 2000 to 2002. She moved to CAP Plc. where she served as Finance Director/Company Secretary from 2003 to 2006 before returning to UACN Plc. as Group Treasurer from 2005 to 2006. She has been the Managing Director of UNICO CPFA Limited since 2006. Mrs. Muhibat Abbas Omobolanle and her husband, Abdu-Salaam Abbas, are blessed with many children.
