Barrister Ademola Anthony Adebanjo was born in April 1964 at Ijebu Ode. He attended St. Augustine Catholic Primary School, Ijebu Ode from 1969 to 1975 and St. Theresa’s Minor Seminary, Oke-Are, Ibadan, from 1975 to 1980. He attended Federal Government College, Odogbolu, where he sat for and passed his GCE A ‘Levels between 1981 and 1983. He proceeded to read Political Science at the University of Ibadan from 1983 to 1986, graduating with a BSc. degree in Political Science in 1986. Between 1988 and 1990, Barr. Adebanjo completed his MSc at the same university. He then proceeded to earn further degree in Law (LL.B & B.L) and received the Nigerian Law Award in 2007.
Barr. Adebanjo worked with the Directorate for Social Mobilisation (MAMSER), Ogun State, from 1988 to 1992 and has served with the National Assembly Abuja since 1993. He was the President of the Pacesetters Club, Ijebu-Imusin from 1988 to 1991, and was again been reappointed as President of the club in 2014.
Barr. Adebanjo is the author of a book titled, Ademola Adebanjo: His Unseen Hands. He loves to swim and play lawn tennis for leisure. He is married to Mrs. Mary Tinuola, and they have four children.
