Otunba (Mrs.) Abiodun Idowu was born on January 23, 1957, at Isonyin. She attended Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Isonyin Ijebu, from 1965 to 1971, and Anglican Girls’ Grammar School, Ijebu, from 1972 to 1976.
In her quest for further education, she attended the School of Health Technology, Itamogiri, Ijebu-Ode, from 1977 to 1980, where she was awarded a Diploma in Public Health.
Between 2000 and 2002, she pursued her postgraduate studies at Ekiti State University, graduating with a Master’s in Environmental Management. She worked with the Ogun State Health Board and Ogun State Local Government Service Commission. She currently serves as Director, of the WES Department, Ijebu-East Local Government, Ogbere.
She holds the traditional title of ‘Yeye Bobalogba’ of Ijebu Imusin. She is a member of the Ijebu Imusin Patriots Wives’ Club. She is an avid reader and loves watching Nollywood movies. She is married to Otunba M. S. Abiodun, and they have two sons and two daughters.
