Evangelist Timothy Kuyoro was born on July 6, 1943 at Ipepe/Ikala, Ijebu Imusin. He attended St. Mary’s Anglican Primary School from 1949 to 1956 for his primary school education and proceeded to Zik’s Academy, Sapele, for his secondary school education from 1959 to 1963, and Ijebu Imusin College from 1964 to 1965. In 1979, he proceeded to the University of Lagos and graduated with a B.Sc (Business Administration). He also attended several banking-related courses both in Nigeria and overseas between 1966 and 1999. His other educational qualifications include ACIB and FCIB.
Evangelist Timothy Oladele Kuyoro is Senior Manager of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc., and Director of Sapida Microfinance Bank. He was Vice-Chairman of Union Bank Pensioners Association (Lagos Zone) from 2006 to 2010.
He was a member of the Parish Council of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Ijebu Imusin, from 1997 to 2007 and has been the church’s auditor since 1997. He has also been the Patron of the Patriotic Christian Fellowship (Kosofe Chapter) since 1997. He has been the secretary of the Ifako Elders Forum, Ifako, since 2006, and the secretary of the Residents Association, Onasanya Close/Oladele Fakunle Street since 1990. He plays football, and table tennis and watches movies during his spare time. He and his lovely wife, Mrs. Matilda Omoyeni Kuyoro, have four grown children.
