Mr. Lawrence Oluwafunmilayo Kehinde Odunsi was born to the family of Pa Thomas Odunsi and Mama Seneye Odunsi of Odokujegi, (Ijebu Imusin) in 1945. He went to St. Mary Primary School, Ijebu-Imusin, and attended Ijebu Ode Grammar School, Ijebu Ode (Class of 1965). Between 1966 and 1969, he was briefly a teacher at the Anglican Commercial School, Igbeba, Ijebu Ode.
He held an OND certificate in Regional and Town Planning at Ibadan Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State. He underwent his attachment at the Zonal Town Planning Office, Ijebu-Ode. He later returned for his HND in Regional Planning at the Ibadan Polytechnic, Ibadan.
In 1981, he was at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland for his Master’s degree. He returned to Nigeria in 1983 and worked at the Ijebu Ode Zonal Planning Authority from where he was transferred to Abeokuta. He was a Chartered Town Planner. He was married and blessed with many children. He died on September 23rd, 1992.
