Mr. Onosiji Onojobi was born on October 6, 1944 at Esure, Ijebu Imusin. He attended Offa Grammar School, where he completed his West African School Certificate between 1960 and 1964. He later proceeded to Comprehensive High School, Digetiry, from 1965 to 1966 when he attained the Higher School Certificate.
He enrolled for a degree course at the University of Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Education) in 1971. Five years later (1976), he attained a Master of Arts at the University of Ife, Ile-Ife. He taught in different schools in Kwara and Ogun States. From 1989 to 1994, he served as Principal of Ijebu Imusin Comprehensive High School. Mr. Herbert Onojobi is presently a Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
