Adeeko Ebenezer Taiwo was born on February 8, 1918, in Odolameso, Ijebu Imusin. He had his early education at St. Mary’s Anglican Primary School, Ijebu Imusin, after which he trained as a carpenter. Adeeko E. Taiwo secured a job with George’s Celly Construction Company in Kano and later joined the Nigerian Army. He also worked with Ososami & Co., Ibadan, from 1949 to 1988.
He was a member of the Ijebu Imusin Progressive Society and served as President, of the Ijebu–Imusin Development Union. He collected gate-taking for opera and dance at the August Rally (Ijebu Imusin Annual Rally) for several years without blemish. He played a polo game and sang very well.
