SQN LDR (Dr.) Temit ope Omotayo Osimokun was born on May 26, 1978. He attended Army Command Children School, Dantuku Rd., Kaduna, from January 1984 to December 1989 to obtain his First School Leaving Certificate in 1989, and then Nigerian Military School, Zaria, where he obtained his West African School Certificate between January 1990 and December 1995. He then proceeded to the Olabisi Onabanjo University where bagged his M.B.Ch.B in May 2004. He also obtained a Certificate in HIV Therapy at Makere University, Kampala, Uganda in March 2006.
He served his External Posting at the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Yaba from March to May 2003 and completed his internship at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) from August 2004 to July 2005. He later served as Medical Officer HIV Clinic/Surgery at the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna from October 2005 to March 2007; Ag HOD GOPD, 347 NAF Hospital, Jos from October to December 2007; and Officer, NAF Medical Centre, NAF DET., Minna, from December 2007 to January 2011. Other appointments he has held include Medical Officer 99 Air Combat Trg Grp, Medical Centre, Kainji (Jan. 2011 – August 2011), Flight Surgeon, Nigeria Level 2 Hospital, Darfur Sudan (Sept. 2011 to April 2012), Medical Officer, 445 NAF Hospital, Ikeja (June 2012 to July 2013) and Medical Officer, 347 NAF Hospital, Jos (2014).
He enjoys reading, listening to music and playing scrabble. He is happily married.
