Mr. Ogunnaike Feyisayo Ogundeko is a native of Odolameso in Ijebu-Imusin, Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State. Born in Zaria on May 24, 1968, Mr. Ogundeko began his primary school education at Command Children’s School, AANS Barracks, Yaba, Lagos, from 1972 to 1978 and later moved to Federal Government College, Odogbolu from 1978 to 1983. After his secondary school education, he proceeded to read Civil Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University (then known as University of Ife), Ile-Ife, from 1983 to 1988 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering in 1988. He further attended the Lagos Business School of the Pan African University between 2006 and 2007 and completed the Master of Business Administration in 2007. Prior to this, he had attended a course in Industrial Engineering at Michelin Nig. Limited from 1991 to 1993.
Mr. Ogundeko began his working life with Michelin Nig. Ltd. in 1989 and remained with the Company until 2005. During this period, he served as Head of Quality Control, then as Head of Production, and eventually as Factory Manager. In 2006, he left Michelin for WIT Consult, where he acted as Industrial Engineering and Total Quality Consultant until 2007. From 2007 to 2010, he was Operations Manager at Baker Hughes Nig. Limited, accountable for electrical submersible pumps and well monitoring systems. He ended up as Facilities Manager before joining John David Construction as General Manager with responsibility for road construction and dredging from 2011 to 2012. Beginning from 2012 until present, Mr. Ogundeko has worked at Schlumberger as Logistics and Materials Manager for West Africa.
He is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, Atlanta, USA. He is also a member of Ikoyi 1938. He is an avid reader. He is married with children.
